3-Dimensional Magic

3- Dimensional printers have a lot of use in a world pretty much consumed by technology. I for one find it as an innovative way to upgrade the concept of printing. Regular printing would normally be used for books, news papers, turning in assignments for school, or flyer's to get the word out about an event. However most of these thing have become digital and are slowly making the regular 2-dimensional print a tad bit obsolete. Books and news papers can be found directly online so printing them is becoming pointless. Teachers have started to make their students turn in assignments online and if there's an event going on the quickest way  for it to gain attention is by putting it on social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram. On the other hand, 3-dimensional printing has changed the game significantly.
3-Dimensional printing has shown to be an important factor for many occupations and companies in general. . Unlike other newly developed forms of technology (Phones, Tablets etc.) the 3-dimensional printer can directly help the general public in terms of a persons well being. For example, hospitals  have begun to use 3-dimensional printer to print out important medical devices that are specified for the patient who needs to us them. There are also signs that 3-dimensional printers can be used to print organs like the heart and other important arteries.
Even though 3- dimensional printing comes at a major cost ( $100,000 to be exact), I believe it's worth it. This type of technology can be abused as well but the impact it could have on the world could prove to be greater than the possible worst case scenario. I don't believe the public should have free use of it. This sort of technology should be use more so to help those who need it. Even if the public could have access to it not many people would find a good reason to use it. 3-dimensional printing is bound to only get bigger and bigger cause the need for this sort of technology is much greater then type we have currently available to us. The only way I see this not working out is if the "black market" got a hold of it

It's Only A Matter of Time

In the past couple of years we have seen a huge spike in the advancement of technology. From Smart phones like Androids and Iphones to various different devices like computers and TVs. I was only a matter of time before the idea of wearable technology became the worlds next big thing. However, with the many pros that come with the wearable technology, there are also some obvious cons. The main one being that the wearable technology makes people a easily pick-able target for crimes like robbery, assault, and armed robbery. As many people who would be able to attain these devices there will be just as many people who will NOT be able to obtain these devices. The idea of wearable technology is still nice though. Think about it you don't have to rummage through your bag to find your phone or Ipod. But then again we can become even more disconnected with society which right now I don't think we even need

To Be On The Phone Or Not To Be On The Phone?

We all have cell phones....I repeat WE ALL HAVE CELL PHONE!!!!! However is it the cell phone we need the most that we couldn't possibly live without or the is it the escape or excuses they make that we can't live without. Now many will be like "what escape what excuses are you referring to ?" Let me list a few of my cell phone guilty please that I find myself doing very often:

1. Creepy guy wont back off while you're walking home, Pop in the head phones and pretend to be listening to music/ play on your phone and watch him become invisible
2. Pretends to talk on phone while someone you don't wanna talk to approaches
3. Pretends to be ANSWERING a very important call just so you can have an excuse to leave the room
4. Plays on the phone to Fall asleep faster at night
5. When a conversation becomes dry get on Facebook to find a topic worthy of discussing.

Many time we don't realize how attached and dependent we become towards our cell phones. We adapt to the idea of a phone so much that we learn how to multitask so we can be on the phone while doing other things. As stated in the article above people will talk to a person and still be texting other people on their phone. I for one have never done and I am honestly impressed by those who can. However, I am also disgusted by the fact that this is a form of social behavior. When I admit I'm on my phone quite a bit but I can never imagine getting to that point. I admit i do get distracted from time to time and my family members do too but to divide up your attention for a piece of replaceable technology is crazy. The video posted below is just another example of how people get caught up in their "Lives" instead of engaging.
